[ As usual, Courier Six is out on his mail route. His patrol, back in town. He does it daily, whenever he can, to help keep some sort of routine. It helps him keep his head a little straight.
And it helps him keep an eye on whatever Pokemon have just arrived. Though, as he sees the Tinkaton, there's a bit of a pause. ] ...Parvati?
[ It's said a little awkwardly, as if he's questioning if that's her name, if she's here. ]

[ His expression is soft, now masking his shock. And looking a bit embarrassed. ] So y'didn't just vanish. Good for you. But yeah, I live 'round 'ere.
[ Stretching out a little. ] No problem. I'm on my regular route, anyhow. [ A beat. ] Hey, uh. What's with th'hammer, though?
Oh! Like Mimikyu! [ A beat. ] I dunno if you've seen the two of 'em - Ring and Shoka - but they're actually not those rags, they actually feel like they gotta keep 'em on. [ Toddle toddle. Slow walk. ] I don't think it's common, though. Like, I could take off this scarf, it's not normal for my species.
...Uh. But I won't. It's comfy. [ plus u know. u know why he likes wearing scarf :3 ]

Yeah, but us Pokemon-- well, it's mostly us people from elsewhere who seem t'want to wear clothes. And it's hell gettin' something tailored that's th'size of a Dragonite. I've been tryin' to get a duster commissioned just right for me, and...
...God, I wish I had thumbs. [ He is still looking down at her. distracted from his rant. ]

[ A lil snort. ] Of course I know how to sew. Gotta know that sorta stuff where I come from. Not like you'll find whole clothes that often.
[ Thank the Law? He snorts a bit to himself. But he's learned to hold his tongue, a little. A tiny bit. ] I dunno. Pokemon eyes are probably more durable then human eyes. I mean, if you were human.
'course I remember that fucked up time. [ Oh, there's something there, under the mask. He's not saying more, because-- ] You say that, but there's some guys who've come here who weren't human. But, true.
Automechanicals, though? Those some sorta name for robots? [ he is trying to sound Normal. ]

[ Now, he might comment on the talking plant, his Son Boy (?), but he suddenly seems excited. He's wiggling a little. ] Oh thank fuck. You know, there's so many people here from places without robots! Fucked up, right?
[ Honestly, what luck that he managed to run into a complete stranger looking at the same quest as him at the same time. Even better that she seems new and enthusiastic, the perfect opportunity to keep himself focused on mentoring and not talk about last month's shenanigans. ]
Alright, Parvati. Here's the plan.
[ He keeps himself low to the ground as they approach the haunted garden patch, almost like a real dog on a hunt. ]
I'll use Roar to scare them out of hiding, then jump in with a Discharge. That's a widespread move, so stay back to not get hit. Then we can clean up any stragglers with that.
[ He motions his snout toward that hammer of hers. Quite the ideal weapon for smashing gourds, honestly. His tail swishes as he readies for the fight. ] And don't worry. I'll watch your back, so just do what feels natural, okay? [ What better way to initiate a newbie than some real fighting, after all. ]

[ He nods, eyes lingering on her hammer as he keeps going. Quite the heavy-lifter despite her size. That was one of the first things that caught his attention about her. ]
Oh, and just so you know, my Electric moves won't be doing much damage against them. They might be Ghosts, but they're also Grass-types. Easy to tell with them looking like pumpkins. [ Because everyone knows what those are right.] Though the coloring's not exactly the same. A bit more black and brown than orange, so it shouldn't be hard to spot them either. [ He's so nailing this mentor thing. ]
Now if I can manage to get a few paralyzed, that should help slow them down too. [ A beat. His ears perk suddenly perk. ] Wait... did your crew fight anything like these before?

[ A quick nod in affirmative, before adding: ] I do have non-Electric moves, but it's good practice for you to be our main offense today.
[ He makes a mental note of her possible typing. Fairy, he already had a guess at, simply based on her color, but Steel does make sense, considering her hammer. After this, he'll have to do some studying on her species. ]
Well... I don't know how robots work [ or what kind of monsters those even are ] but just use what feels comfortable first, and I'll jump in to back you up. They should be weakest to Fire and Dark moves, so maybe you'll even learn a new attack or two during this.
[ Laios could keep going on about the type chart now locked in his brain, but with that all said, he prepares himself to initiate the attack, glancing at her one more time. ]
Ready?

[ Another mental note: ask for more details on those later. For now, he simply gives another nod before fully focusing on the garden patch. ]
It's a bit of an instinctual thing with Pokémon. You fight, you get stronger, you learn new moves. Pretty neat, right?
[ Very oversimplified, but priorities! With her go-ahead, he bows a bit lower before finally launching himself forward. A loud Roar erupts through the garden, knocking back some of the gourd Pokémon hidden amongst the rest of the vegetables. Not giving them a chance to re-orient themselves, he shakes off some excess electricity that had been building up. Sparks fly off him as Discharge goes off, spreading across his immediate surroundings. A few are hit, but time will tell if Paralysis will take effect. For now, he cranes his head back to call for his partner. ]
Alright, Parvati! Now's your chance!
